ABOUT

ALMAR is a Russian company created by professionals in the field of geology and mining of natural diamonds. The history of the company began in 2015 with the creation of LLC “Arctic Mining Company” (AGC), currently a subsurface user of ALMAR. Since 2016, the company has been engaged in geological exploration at the Beenchime and Khatyst diamond placers located in the Far Eastern Federal District of the Russian Federation in the Oleneksky and Bulunsky districts in the north of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia). In 2021, the company was transformed into ALMAR JSC, in 2022 it received the status of a public joint stock company. Full name of the company: Public Joint Stock Company “ALMAR – diamonds of the Arctic”, abbreviated – PJSC “ALMAR».

The Khatystakh placer is located on the left bank of the Lena River. It has a sustained high diamond content of the productive reservoir. The raw materials are dominated by small stones of average quality. The Khatystakh section takes its name from the name of the left tributary of the Lena River.

The Beenchime placer is located 150 km west of the Khatystakh deposit, has a slightly lower productivity of sands, which is compensated by the large size of diamonds and the high average cost of diamonds. The Beenchime River is a left tributary of the Olenek River, which flows into the Laptev Sea.

In 2023, ALMAR Group successfully confirmed reserves by industrial categories at the Federal State Commission for Reserves with the discovery of the Beenchimee diamond placer deposit.

Currently, the company continues to carry out exploration work at its licensed areas of Khatystakh and Beenchimee, including a complex of drilling and processing works, and has also begun design and survey work to organize the development of the Beenchimee field.
